Oh, the relief! This small investment will be well worth it. Purchase a bulk order of hand-held, battery-operated fan misters to keep your guests from melting in the summer heat. They will be all smiles as you walk down the aisle.
Water, Water, and more Water!
Hand out bottles of water, but not just any bottle of water. Accessorize with a custom wrap with your initials and wedding colors! They can be offered as guests arrive, placed in barrels (if you’re having a country wedding), or conveniently placed by the bar in the cocktail area. No need to make guests wait for water from behind the bar – keep it easy.
Frozen Treats!
Who wouldn’t love something cool and sweet on a hot summer day? One of the classic frozen wedding treats on a hot summer day is ice cream! What a great idea – serving ice cream at your wedding. From serving ice cream in cones to choosing a few scoops for your wedding guests, there are so many ways to present this cool treat at your wedding.
Paper Fans or Parasols
Hand-held paper fans are a fun memento of the day. Utilize copies of your invitation, engagement photos, or wedding program to add a personal touch and create the paper fans (if you want to DIY it)! You can also use fans or parasols to add more color to your wedding. These will also come in handy for some nice photo ops too.
Make it Easy for your Guests to Freshen Up
Have the bathrooms stocked with body wipes, face blotters, hair bands, refresher spray, and even travel-size deodorant so your guests can freshen up through the day if they feel a little burnt out from the heat.

If it’s going to be hot, you might as well have some fun with it. To help your guests beat the heat, in addition to stocking the bathroom, try setting up survival stations around your location, complete with all the tools they’ll need to stay cool on a hot day.
