Let us make your event a success!

Jim Dzengeleski Owner
Jim went to Durham-Tech and NC State for medical technology but decided to pursue other avenues when he opened J&J Tent in 2005. While some may wonder why he entered the party rental scene, it seemed like a natural progression. Jim and his family previously opened and owned the Show Shide Restaurant. With a few tents and chairs, he started to support the family-run catering business by renting out quality products to create a full-package experience. Now, 20 years later, J&J Tent is a thriving business that prides itself on professional customer service and quality products.
A father of four children with his wife Julie, Jim is hardworking, dedicated, reliable, and fun. He states that “I love to see the smiles on my customer’s faces once the job is finished. Planning the event can be very stressful, so when it all comes together and you see the relief and their smile…it is the best part.”

Michael Cerasi Party Crew Member
Michael graduated from Glen Cove HS in Long Island NY, and moved to NC to get formal training in the “school of life and hard knocks.” He worked at the PNC arena (meeting everyone from professional hockey players to famous musicians) and got into the party rental business when Jim inspired him to pursue a new career opportunity. With over ten years of experience in the party rental industry, Michael embraces the mindset that “time flies when you're having fun!”
Michael is a first-generation Italian New Yorker that married a downhome southern country girl. With 20 years of marriage under his belt, a teenage son and two rescue dogs named Indy & Tana, he has a lot more to offer the southern party rental industry.

Amy Lee Office Manager
Amy Lee is currently pursuing a BSBA-Marketing at UNCP. She has been with J&J Tent for almost a year now and thrives on putting the customer first no matter the event. She loves making the customer happy and especially enjoys planning out wedding events to make a couple’s day perfect.
Amy has 2 kids with one on the way, a loving husband, 2 dogs and a cat. While she has her hands full, she can appreciate the rewarding nature of the job and reflects back on the many individuals she has helped over the last few months. “It’s crazy to think that we rented a pop-up tent for Joe Bidens Security when he visited last year.” No matter the customer, her mission is to meet the needs of the customer while also being a trusted advisor.

Jason Heath Business Development Manager
Jason attended Eastern Michigan University where he received a Bachelor of Science. He began his career in the event industry over 25 years ago when he started cleaning tents as a summer job while in college. Since then he has become a member of the American Rental Association where he achieved his CERP certifications.
Over the course of his career, Jason has had the opportunity to plan and execute events for a variety of clients. He has listened to Jeff Daniels play the harmonica while installing a tent and worked closely with the University of Michigan for events at the Chrysler Arena and "The Big House." Like most professionals in the Event Rental Industry, Jason takes great pride in helping customers achieve their vision whether it’s chairs for a birthday party or an event tent to protect guests at a wedding.
In his free time, Jason likes to spend time with his wife Kai, daughter Solei, and son Vaughn. On weekends, you can find him honing his fairway shot on the disc golf course with fellow J&J team members.

James
James has officially been with J&J Tent for over 5 years, though he grew up learning the family business. His father, Jim, inspired him to get his degree from Wake Tech and pursue the family business of bringing people’s dream events to life. When he’s not on duty with the J&J Tent Party Crew, he enjoys spending time with friends playing card games, guitar, and video games.
